We are so delighted to invite you and your little one into one of the most special parts of our studio community—our Parent & Baby Ballet and Book Club Classes.

These gentle, joyful classes are designed to nurture early movement, imagination, and connection in a calm and welcoming space. Together, parents and babies explore simple ballet-inspired movement, music, storytelling, and shared moments that celebrate curiosity and closeness.

Classes Ages 3-4

Pre Primary Ballet

Saturdays 9:00am-10:00am Studio A

Sundays 12:00pm-1:00pm Studio B

We are so excited to invite your little dancer into one of the most joyful and magical beginnings of their dance journey—our Pre-Primary Ballet Class.

This special class is designed for young children to explore movement, music, and imagination in a nurturing and playful environment. Through storytelling, gentle structure, and creative play, students begin learning the fundamentals of ballet while developing coordination, confidence, and a love of movement.

At The School of Port City Ballet we are dedicated to the individual dancer, supporting their strengths and goals towards becoming the artists they wish to be in our beautiful studios. Our programs are taught by a faculty of certified teachers and guest artists who have studied the best available and updated programs for dancers health and growth. This creates a one of a kind environment where our studio feels like a second home to all of our students. Students are supported by registered professionals in the fields of Sports Psychology, Social Work, Physiotherapists, Pilates Trainers, and Nutritionists helping to grow a well-rounded, educated, and informed dancer of today.

Always wanted to try ballet but didn’t know where to start? Our 4-Week Intro to Ballet for Adults is the perfect first step.

No experience needed — just curiosity and a love of movement. Whether you’re starting fresh or returning after years away, this course is designed to help you feel strong, supported, and beautifully grounded from the very first plié. Weekly classes taught by PCB Artistic Director, Nova Johnstone.
