About

The School of Port City Ballet offers a progressive dance program for all ages. Our extended classes allow children to fully immerse themselves in the world of dance.

All dancers experience a multi-faceted schedule of ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, pointe, variations and Progressing Ballet Technique, taught by a faculty of professional dancers and highly skilled teachers. Focus is put on progression through each level of training as your child grows into an inspired artist.

Students partake in yearly examinations, performances and competitions.

Exams, Performances and Competitions

All students will have the opportunity to perform twice a year; once in December and again in May/June. Those who wish to complete their examinations and compete must commit to the full program for their level.

Technique for Competitive Dancers

After working with multiple competitive dance schools Miss Nova has hand selected the classes which have been most beneficial for competition focused dancers. Our technical dance program is designed to sharpen precision, enhance strength, and perfect the technique through strength and stretch training as well as solid ballet technique needed to excel in competitive performances, giving dancers the edge they need to stand out and succeed.
